Directions to Rodeo Grounds
from San Jose

Heading to the rodeo grounds from San Jose you've got a couple of choices in how you get there. The first option will take you through Woodside and then wind you up the hill. The exit for the second option is a bit further up the freeway, but is a less windy route and often is faster. Either way, you'll be treated to a very scenic drive... bring your camera.

Through Woodside
Trailers and RVs not advised.
Leaving San Jose, take Interstate 280 north
Exit at the Woodside/Highway 84 exit
Head west on Highway 84 for approximately
15 miles to Driscoll Ranches

Along the Coast
This is the fastest route!
Leaving San Jose, take Interstate 280 north
Exit at Highway 92/Half Moon Bay exit
Head west on Highway 92 to the coast
Head south along the coast on Highway 1
to Highway 84 (near San Gregorio Beach)
Head east on Highway 84 5.75 miles to Driscoll Ranches

Pulling a Trailer?
If you're hauling a trailer to the rodeo grounds or driving an RV, we strongly encourage you to use the "coastal route" as described above to get there. The Woodside route has many tight turns and some narrow sections of road.
