
We are excited to announce that we will begin holding a Country Tea Dance every other month starting in February. These Country Tea Dances will be held in San Francisco at the Triple Crown, 1760 Market Steet. Admission is FREE for GSGRA members, and $10 for non-members. All proceeds go directly to help produce the 2010 Best Buck in the Bay Rodeo and Festival. The other dances scheduled for 2010 are:

2010 will see the BAC hosting more activities in the San Jose/South Bay area. This will include BBQ/Beer Busts scheduled for the Spring and Summer. We will be holding these BBQ/Beer Busts at Brix Nightclub in San Jose. We are excited to be "pardnering" with Brix and look forward to seeing as many of you South Bay folks as possible. Every year the Bay Area Chapter holds a competition for the titles of Mr., Ms., MsTer, and Miss Bay Area Rodeo. The contest is adapted from the International Gay Rodeo Association's royalty contest and involves several aspects including Personal Interview, Public Presentation, Western Wear, Entertainment, Horsemanship, and Fundraising. The winning contestants and the first runner up for each title form the royalty team. The team plays a vital role representing the chapter throughout the year, helping other community organizations, and raising money for charity. Don't miss this year's competition, scheduled for Friday, April 9th . . . it's certain to be a great one!
