Buckin' Country Tea Dance
Saturday, February 20, 2010 | 5:00pm-9:00pm
Our first 2010 Country Tea Dance is coming up in San Francisco on February 20th at the Triple Crown, 1760 Market Steet. Admission is FREE for GSGRA members, and $10 for non-members. All proceeds go directly to help produce the 2010 Best Buck in the Bay Rodeo and Festival. The other dances scheduled for 2010 are:
- Saturday, April 3rd
- Saturday, June 19th
- Saturday, October 9th
- Saturday, December 4th

Want to be Royalty?
Every year the Bay Area Chapter holds a competition for the titles of Mr., Ms., MsTer, and Miss Bay Area Rodeo. The contest is adapted from the International Gay Rodeo Association's royalty contest and involves several aspects including Personal Interview, Public Presentation, Western Wear, Entertainment, Horsemanship, and Fundraising. The winning contestants and the first runner up for each title form the royalty team. The team plays a vital role representing the chapter throughout the year, helping other community organizations, and raising money for charity. Don't miss this year's competition, scheduled for Friday, April 9th . . . it's certain to be a great one!

San Francisco Imperial Council Coronation
The Imperial Council of San Francisco will be holding their annual Coronation Ball on Saturday, February 27, 2010 from 6pm-10pm. The Coronation Ball will be held at Live 888 (formerly The Gift Center) at 888 Brannon Street (Brannon @ 8th Street). The BAC has two tables reserved and we're inviting our members to come join the fun. Seats at the table will be given on a first come, first served basis to BAC members in good standing. Yes, you read that correctly .... a $500 GIft Card to Best Buy! The BAC Crew soon will be selling Raffle Tickets to benefit the Best Buck in the Bay Rodeo and Festival being held August 13-15, 2010. Raffle Tickets are $5 each and will be sold at various BAC events in the coming months. The Grand Prize drawing will be held on Sunday, August 15th at the Best Buck in the Bay Rodeo Awards Dinner. The winner does not need to be present in order to claim the prize. Good Luck!
