2010 Best Buck in the Bay Rodeo - Production Kickoff Meeting, Tuesday August 4, 2009
Our bid for the 2010 Best Buck in the Bay Rodeo will officially be submitted to the GSGRA Board of Directors at the October 10th Board Meeting being held in San Francisco, however we don't want to waste any time in kicking off the production of our next rodeo. For all folks interested in participating in our rodeo production, we will have a kickoff meeting at Chieko and Cindy Tomasulo's house, 2851 Laguna St., Concord, CA 94518, on Tuesday, August 4, 2009. The meeting will be held from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

GSGRA State Board Meeting
On July 25th, the GSGRA held their quarterly State Board Meeting in Long Beach. A new GSGRA 25th Anniversary logo was unveiled along with an Anniversary edition shirt that can be purchased by all GSGRA members. For more information about how to order the shirt, as well as to see the new logo, check out the BAC Member page on our website. Additional items discussed at the Board Meeting included:
- Convening a statewide by-laws committee meeting to discuss ways to better integrate the four GSGRA Chapters and the State organization. The date and location of this meeting are TBA.
- Election of GSGRA delegates for the IGRA Convention in Toronto, Canada this coming November.
- By-law changes in regards to (1) GSGRA Royalty, (2) State Board of Directors' qualifications, (3) clarification of causes for State Board of Directors' position vacancies.

New Golden Gate Fields Dates for the remainder of 2009
With half the year gone already, we are looking forward to more fundraising in the second half of the year. We have secured four additional dates to staff Golden Gate Fields' Dollar Days booth. We'd love to see as many of you out there, not only assisting with selling $1 hot dogs and $1 Bud Light, but also having a good time with fellow Rodeo folks. Review the dates and e-mail our Fundraising Chairperson to volunteer.
