2010 "Best Buck in the Bay Rodeo" in planning stages
The GSGRA-BAC is working hard to put together their bid for the 2010 Best Buck in the Bay Rodeo. The rodeo planning committee is working on raising the necessary funds to produce the rodeo, obtaining committments from major sponsors, as well as making a final determination on the location of the actual rodeo. The bid will be submitted to the GSGRA state board of directors at the October 10th board meeting in San Francisco.

The GSGRA Bay Area Chapter will not be holding the "Best Buck in the Bay Rodeo" in 2009
Along with Atlantic States, North Star, New Mexico, Los Angeles and St. Louis, the board of directors made the most responsible, although difficult decision to not hold the Best Buck in the Bay Rodeo 2009. With the rising cost and declining attendance, it would have been fiscally irresponsible for us to hold a rodeo this year.
During the coming year, we will be holding a variety of events throughout the Bay Area, including fun activities for our members as well as several fundraisers. We welcome your suggestions for possible activities of interest to our membership as well as your support in making them happen.
We hope we can count on your continued support throughout 2009 as we ramp up for the Best Buck in the Bay 2010.
